Pro Am
INTRODUCTION
The Queensland Sunshine Circuit, established in 1963, is the longest running Pro-Am tour in Australia, with events from Ballina to Mt Isa and up to Papua New Guinea all vitally important to the Professional Golf Association.
The Sunshine Circuit is Australia's most colourful and demanding professional golf tour. The Circuit now winds it way across more than 25,000km of Queensland and northern New South Wales and boasts prize money of over $1.2 million. The Circuit attracts professionals from across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, America and the United Kingdom.
Building off "The Bay's" already successful Pro Ams on the PGA's Sunshine Circuit, the Rowes Bay Golf Club is excited to be hosting the 2010 XXXX Gold KEY Motors Pro-Am and will host its part of the Sunshine Tour on Wednesday 30th June & Thursday 1st July 2010.
Well known professional Kurt Barnes who was looking for his third consecutive win in 2007 unfortunately retired early due to family commitments leaving the field wide open with New Zealander Brad Shilton winning the prize money finishing -11, firing an impressive final round 65 (eight under) to claim victory at "The Bay" in 2007.
With many leading Professional Golfers expected to compete in this years two day event, don't miss your chance for an opportunity to play. Nomination forms are available to download or collect from the Pro Shop.
Entry is $50.00 for 2 days or $30.00 for 1 day.
